'In This Valley' - Out Now!

Hello friends,

I'm beyond excited to share with you the first single, 'In This Valley', from my upcoming album produced by my dear friend, award-winning producer Javier Limón.

I've always been a recorder player first and foremost, but I felt with this project that I wanted to go deeper. I didn't want to hide behind the recorder, but rather put the compositions and the lyrics in front, as fragile as they are.

This first song is especially dear to my heart. When I came across this beautiful poem by Yehuda Amichai, it was one of those rare occasion when the music seemed to write itself. Amichai, one of Israel’s most prominent poets, describes an experience of loss and new beginnings, and how love can evolve and change throughout life’s journey.

I was fortunate to work on this song (as well as the other songs on the album) together with one of my favorite human-beings on this planet and a musician I truly admire, Yoni Marianer. Yoni musically directed the project and co-arranged the music with me, as well as played upright bass on all the songs. I had the pleasure of having Micha Gilad on piano and Noam Israeli on drums and percussion, two incredibly sensitive and creative musicians whom I love with all my heart.
